Idaho Statesman: Boise State hires ex-TCU compliance director

Ex-TCU director of compliance John Cunningham is the school's executive director of NCAA compliance. He is at least the fourth compliance director in four years.

Cunningham, a 2001 TCU graduate who earned a law degree from Nebraska in 2005, is expected to start Monday. He replaces Josh Snyder, who left in December for family reasons. ...

We've given Boise our defense. We've taught their coaches how to defeat our defense. We've given them our conference and now we've given them our top shelf Compliance Officer. What next - at least we get to take away their home winning streak!

When you have a good staff that does things the right way, they get opportunities to move on and up in the world. While the article makes it sound kind of like a lateral move, I think he is actually moving essentially from #2 compliance guy to #1. I wish him the best of luck. Don't know him well personally, but he's a good buddy of my older brother.
