Agree UA, ASU and Utah would huge gets. Hope Utah isn’t dumb. Even UT swallowed their pride and followed A&M to the SEC because it’s a better deal for them

actually, it wasn't that texas swallowed their pride, but the sec recognized their mistake and corrected it by begging the horns to save the sec after they saw how texas had been holding up the entire big 12 ..................

Yes. It is 8 years old, but it is about how the B1G built their media empire. It is also why they added USC and UCLA. More than doubling the subscriber charges in the LA market is boat loads of money. The B1G doesn’t care about good football teams, they care about media markets. That is why they don’t really care about Oregon that much.

The reason the Big 12 added UH especially was because of the Houston media market as we try to launch other media projects. Crazy enough it doesn’t even matter whether they actually draw eyeballs or not.

And San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose is #6, which is why the B1G is talking to Stanford. Also, it's only half about the number of Duck and Cardinal alumni; the other half is the number of Wisconsin/Michigan/Iowa/Indiana/PennState alumni. And it's really much more than half when you consider meaningful (non-repeat) touches such as donor contacts.
