Quite the storytale end/beginning for Van Lith, who rose into the first round. I think Chicago traded up to get her.
I hadn't heard Conner's name in any of the mock drafts, so good for her. She apparently meets a need for Seattle, which had only one player shoot better than 33% from deep last season. And opponents will need to focus on their new center, the second overall pick.
Tough night for Prince. Since the W has a single owner (the NBA), not sure if "collusion" fits. But no team was willing to take on the PR challenge--and the league is more about PR than revenue. She's eligible for free agency, but if a team in the W was going to give her a shot, they would have used a pick. She will likely need to go overseas.
