With a 36-3 record over the past three seasons, TCU coach Gary Patterson has the track record to inspire optimism, even with a team that is trying to replace a veteran quarterback.
Whether it's Casey Pachall or Matt Brown stepping in for departed star Andy Dalton, Horned Frogs fans can feel confident Patterson will field enough talent in other areas to carve out a successful season.
TCU is shooting for nothing less than a title in its final season in the Mountain West Conference, which would serve as a springboard into the Big East in 2012. ...
