Does this mean surgeons have been duped for years into wearing masks?

Surgeons wear them to prevent splatters from getting into their mouth and nose. Don't think the purpose for them has ever been to filter out virus particles. That's why they don't wear N95s in surgery.

You can search sites such as the CDC and World Health Organization that show your “no data” post is inaccurate. There are other reputable sources with documented studies.

I’m not saying they’re even highly effective for that matter, but your statement is factually incorrect that there is no data to support it.

And I have no problem with you disagreeing, but no need to be disrespectful. I wasn’t disrespectful.
