Robowski pitched to Bryan Holaday, who left the game in the top of the 10th when he was struck in the throat by a foul ball off the bat of New Britain's Deibinson Romero. SeaWolves manager Chris Cron said Holaday was taken to the hospital for X-rays after the catcher reported vision problems.

He's fine. Played twice since that game. He's really been playing well the last few weeks.

I was 12 years old playing in a little league all star game and a foul ball lodged between the lower part of the catcher's mask and his chest protector. TS, the catcher, was rolling around the ground by the plate. Some of us were laughing until we realized the lodged ball was choking him. A coach pulled the ball out. Freaky stuff.

Didn't realize Holaday was playing for Kevin Cron's dad. Perhaps I just wasn't paying attention? Wonder if that plays in TCU's favor or not...
