I know nothing about calling plays (literally nothing) but I’ve decided that every play that doesn’t work from here on out is his fault.

Yeah, I don't feel so good about it now. Had it stalled at the 20 would have been one thing but a chance at 4 downs inside the 10 was there. We can't win by kicking FGs.

Agreed. He’s like that buddy of yours in high school that manages to stay out of trouble for a month or two but you just know will do something stupid at the end of football season or over spring break...just can’t help himself.

I didn't hate not running it because of how bad we've been on short yardage but the play call--going to something other than a short pass to get a 3 or 4 yards--I didn't like so much.

He needs to watch the old tapes on Andy Dalton where he would get down fast and do the head first dive. Collins doesn't want to slide and it shows every time he tries. Best to let him play to what he wants to do.
