Really doubt Duggan is significantly better than anybody else on the roster except downing

Max is not terrible, he's just not sufficient to elevate the other deficiencies in the team. He's better than he was at some things but has to take care of the ball better. We had hoped he could make the Andy Dalton leap his 3rd year but Andy had Justin Fuente as his QB coach and OC. Max has Meach and Kenny Hill. I wish we could have done a little more to help him out.

Another QB with the same set of offensive coaches is likely to result in the play calling and same problems. Unless another Boykin walks thru the door, how do you improve this position?

Not saying it’s great, but it could be a lot worse. Let’s not forget our backup went in against K-State last year, threw a pick 6, and was so bad we decided our best option was playing the guy who couldn’t lift his arm.
