FORT WORTH – The Horned Frogs continue their seven-game homestand with a midweek matchup vs. Abilene Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

TCU (8-0) is enjoying to its best start to a season and will secure the second-longest winning streak in program history with a win over the Wildcats.

  • TCU will secure the second-longest winning streak in program history via a victory on Tuesday.
  • The Horned Frogs enter Tuesday's tilt three wins shy of matching the longest winning streak in school history. The 2000-01 squad won 11 straight games en route to the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament berth.

  • TCU is the only team in the nation with two players averaging 20 points per game in Madison Conner (24.2 ppg) and Sedona Prince (20.6 ppg). They rank second and 16th, respectively, in points scored. Conner is also fourth in the nation in points per game.
  • Conner scored 41 points - the most in a game in regulation in program history - and matched TCU's single-game record for 3-pointers via a 10-15 clip from downtown in Friday's win over Tulsa.
  • Conner's 41 points were the most in a game by a Big 12 player in three seasons and third-most by any D1 player in 2023-24. She tied for the nation's individual game high in 3-pointers.
  • Conner is now tied for third in the conference's single-game record book for most 3-pointers in a game. She became the first Big 12 player to can 10 three's in a game in nearly four years, when Baylor's Juicy Landrum set the conference record with 14 on Dec. 18, 2019.
  • Conner surpassed reigning National Player of the Year Caitlin Clark for the national lead in 3-pointers (42) and 3-pointers per game (5.3) on Friday.
  • TCU has hit or eclipsed 85 points four times this season. TCU last scored 85-plus points in four games in the same season in 2018-19.
  • The Horned Frogs are making good on Mark Campbell's introductory press conference promise to try and lead the NCAA in 3-pointers. TCU leads the Big 12 and ranks third nationally in triples (84). Only Utah (117) and Iowa (87) have made more The Horned Frogs have drained at least 10 deep balls in six of their eight games and canned 14 twice (TAMU-Kingsville, Tulsa).
  • The 3-point prowess spans both sides of the court, as TCU is the only team in the country that ranks in the top-15 in 3-pointers per game (5th, 10.5) and 3-point percentage defense (12th, 21.7).
  • TCU has claimed two-of-three Big 12 player of the Week accolades with recognitions for Conner (Nov. 13) and Prince (Nov. 27). The Horned Frogs never previously had two players garner Big 12 Player of the Week accolades in the same season.
  • Prince is one of just seven players in the country averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds per night.
  • Prince and Conner have scored in double figures in every game this season.
  • Prince's five-double doubles rank second in the Big 12 and fifth nationally.
  • Jaden Owens (6.5 apg) is on pace to break TCU's single-season record for assists per game. She dished out a season-high 11 on Friday and ranks 13th nationally in both assists per game and assist-to-turnover ratio (+4.0).
  • TCU has largely put each of its seven wins on ice in the second quarter. The Horned Frogs doubled up Tulsa 16-8 in the frame on their way to a 14-point halftime lead on Saturday. TCU holds a 178-82 cumulative second quarter scoring edge.
  • The Horned Frogs have scored 80-or-more points in four consecutive contests for the first time since 2003-04 and fourth time in program history. TCU has never hit or eclipsed 80 points in five straight outings.
  • TCU leads the Big 12 and is eighth nationally in blocks per game (6.5). Prince's 20 blocks are the ninth-most by any D1 player in 2023-24.
  • TCU is one of just four schools nationally to be undefeated in both men's and women's basketball.

  • The inaugural meeting between TCU and ACU was the third game in Horned Frogs women's basketball history.
  • TCU was a member of the Texas Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (TAIAW) in its first nine games vs. ACU.
  • The Horned Frogs most recent outing with the Wildcats came during Jeff Mittie's final season as head coach. TCU went on to finish its second year as a Big 12 member with an 18-15 overall record and earn a WNIT berth.

South Carolina Women have beaten three ranked teams so far, Notre Dame, Maryland , and North Carolina, along with unranked Duke (asked office Gamecock)
AND...3 of those 4 mentioned games were on the road (w/ the last 2 being "true road" games). Yes...South Carolina is scary good, so far, this season (North Carolina played them extremely well in the first half though)!
