Senior <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11428" target="_blank">Dani Dennison</a> delivered 15 digs to pass Marci King for the fifth most digs in program history in the defeat.</p><p> </p><p><strong>TCU NOTABLES:</strong></p><p>· Dennison led the team with 15 digs tonight, extending her career total to 1,205</p><p>· Dennison is now fifth in program history in career digs, surpassing Marci King (1998-01).</p><p>· She is just 22 digs away from tying Sutton Sinstrum (2012-15) for fourth-most.</p><p>· Sophomore <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11432" target="_blank">McKenzie Nichols</a> delivered her third consecutive double-double tonight with 32 assists and 11 digs. She now has a team-best four double-doubles this season and 13 over her career.</p><p>· She has matched her career-best with three-straight double-doubles.</p><p>· Junior <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11426" target="_blank">Katie Clark</a> led the team with 10 kills. But Iowa State went on a long run to go ahead 23-12 and hold on for the win.</p><p></p><p><strong>Set 2 (TCU, 25-22): </strong>TCU responded well after the disappointing opening set, getting out to a 10-7 advantage on .438 hitting. <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11618" target="_blank">Taylor Raiola</a> was the difference maker in the early goings, tallying three early kills to help the Horned Frogs jump in front, 10-7. TCU would extend the lead by as many as six points (17-11) on its way to a second set victory. <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11430" target="_blank">Afedo Manyang</a> led the team with four kills and Nichols posted a team-best six digs.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Set 3 (ISU, 25-15): </strong>The Cyclones won six of the first seven points to go in front, 6-1. They would nurse that lead to a 10-point victory in the third set. Myers, Raiola and Clark combined for six kills to lead the team. Dennison paced the back row with five digs.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Set 4 (ISU, 25-17): </strong>Three early kills from Clark helped the Horned Frogs keep pace, 9-9. But another Cyclone run would put them in front, 11-17. TCU would go on a 4-0 run in response to cut the lead to just two points, but ISU bounced back and won the set by eight points.
