HOW IT HAPPENED:
Set 1 (ISU, 25-14): The Horned Frogs kept things close to start, holding a 11-10 lead. But Iowa State went on a long run to go ahead 23-12 and hold on for the win.

Set 2 (TCU, 25-22): TCU responded well after the disappointing opening set, getting out to a 10-7 advantage on .438 hitting. Taylor Raiola was the difference maker in the early goings, tallying three early kills to help the Horned Frogs jump in front, 10-7. TCU would extend the lead by as many as six points (17-11) on its way to a second set victory. Afedo Manyang led the team with four kills and Nichols posted a team-best six digs.

Set 3 (ISU, 25-15): The Cyclones won six of the first seven points to go in front, 6-1. They would nurse that lead to a 10-point victory in the third set. Myers, Raiola and Clark combined for six kills to lead the team. Dennison paced the back row with five digs.

Set 4 (ISU, 25-17): Three early kills from Clark helped the Horned Frogs keep pace, 9-9. But another Cyclone run would put them in front, 11-17. TCU would go on a 4-0 run in response to cut the lead to just two points, but ISU bounced back and won the set by eight points.
