AUSTIN, Texas – No. 16 TCU is firmly in position to post its eighth straight top five team finish as the 2024-25 regular season hits the stretch run.

The Horned Frogs are tied with Oklahoma for fifth at the Betsy Rawls Invitational following 36 holes of stroke play at UT Golf Club on Monday.

TCU shot a 33-over 609 across its first two rounds in the Texas Hill Country. Only tournament host and event leader Texas posted an under-par round over the marathon day. The seventh-ranked Longhorns finished two-under (286) in round one and lead No. 13 LSU by 12 strokes (+7, 583).

The Frogs are one of four squads in the 14-team field with multiple players positioned in the top 10 of the individual leaderboard. Meagan Winans and Sofia Barroso Sá are tied for 10th at six-over (150) The lone upperclassmen in TCU's lineup, both players signed a pair of three-over 75 scorecards in each of their rounds.

Winans bagged seven birdies – tied for the fifth-most of any player – and ranked second in the 78-player field in par-5 scoring (-2, 4.75). From nearby Plano, Texas, Winans is in search of her fourth consecutive top 20 finish and seventh of the season. She moved into the team-lead for birdies (86) in 2024-25.

Barroso Sá leads the field in pars (27). She was plus-one over her final 16 holes.

Camille Min-Gaultier is tied for 23rd at 10-over (154). She made her second consecutive start as the No. 1 player in TCU's lineup. The freshman matched Winans and Barroso Sá's first round scorecard before shooting a seven-over 79 in her second stroll across the courts.

Kirstin Angosta (+13, T38) and Gracie McGovern (+18, T59) completed TCU's five-player lineup. Angosta ascended 16 spots up the leaderboard in round two behind a four-over 76.

TCU has finished no worse than fourth in seven straight events dating back to its first of three team championships this season at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in September.
