THE GAME
• The TCU Horned Frogs (17-4, 8-2) wrap-up a two-game road swing with a midweek contest against the No. 2/1-ranked Baylor Bears (21-1, 10-0) this Wednesday, Feb. 12.
• Tip-off between the Horned Frogs and Bears is set for 7 p.m. at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.
• Wednesday's contest will be televised live on the Big 12 NOW on ESPN+.
• TCU dropped the first game of the 2019-20 series against Baylor, falling 55-57 to the Bears back on Jan. 22, in Fort Worth.
• The contest will close out a span where the Horned Frogs played five of its last eight Big 12 games on the road. TCU is 4-0 on the road during the eight-game time frame.

FROG FAST BREAKS
• TCU pushed its overall record to 17-4 and a mark of 8-2 in Big 12 play with a road win at Kansas this past Saturday. The Horned Frogs defeated the Jayhawks 87-74, scoring 80+ points for just the third time this season.
• The 87-point effort was TCU's most points scored this season and the most points scored in a game since an 88-31 win over Alcorn State back on Dec. 29, 2018. It is TCU's most points scored against a Big 12 opponent since a 90-83 win against Oklahoma in the Big 12 Tournament back on March 3, 2018.
• TCU has won eight of its first 10 Big 12 games for the first time in program history. Previously, TCU's best record through 10 games was a 7-3 mark back in 2017-18.
• TCU's 8-2 conference record is the best league mark through 10 games overall since an 8-2 record the Frogs registered as a member of the Mountain West Conference back in the 2010-11 season.
• TCU is 17-4 overall through its first 21 games for the first time since the 2003-04 season.
• Aside from Baylor, TCU became the first team in the Big 12 to open road play with a 5-0 record since the Texas Longhorns won its first five Big 12 road games back in 2016-17.
• This marks the first time since the 2000-01 season that TCU has won its first five road games in conference play. The 2000-01 squad opened 5-0 on the road as a member of the WAC.
• TCU received votes in both AP and USA Today Coaches Polls this week. The Horned Frogs earned season-high votes in both polls, collecting 31 points in the AP Poll and 13 points in the Coaches Poll.

SCOUTING BAYLOR
• Baylor has won five straight since defeating the Horned Frogs in Fort Worth, back on Jan. 22. The Bears have won 14 straight games overall, with its last and only loss of the season coming to South Carolina back on Nov. 30, 2019.
• With a 10-0 record in Big 12 play, Baylor has outscored its opponents by a margin of 27.5 points per game. Only Texas Tech (8 points) and TCU (9 points) have given the Bears a game within 19 points or less. The next closest game is a 20-point win against Texas.
• Baylor continues to rank among the top-5 teams nationally in 14 different NCAA statistical categories, which includes ranking No. 1 overall in assists/game (22.6), field goal percentage (.505), field goal percentage-defense (.301) and three-point percentage (.419).
• Baylor continues to have five players averaging double-digit scoring efforts, with NaLyssa Smith leading the way at 14.9 points per game. Te'a Cooper chips in with 14.4 points, while Queen Egbo (11.9), Lauren Cox (11.5) and Juicy Landrum (11.0) follow.
• Cox leads the team on the boards with 8.0 rebounds per game. She has also tallied a team-best 33 blocked shots.
• DiDi Richards has dished out a Big 12-leading 119 assists, while ranking fourth in the league with 43 steals.

SERIES HISTORY
• Baylor leads the all-time series 38-5, which includes a 16-0 record against the Horned Frogs since TCU became a member of the Big 12 Conference.
• The Bears have won 28 straight and are 18-2 when facing TCU in Waco.
• TCU's last win over Baylor was an 83-76 home victory over the Bears back on Feb. 28, 1990.
• TCU's last win over Baylor in Waco was a 73-70 victory back on Jan. 27, 1990.

THE LAST TIME OUT
• TCU erased a nine-point second quarter deficit, outscoring Kansas 34-14 in the frame, on the way to an 87-74 win over the Jayhawks this past Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kan.
• TCU trailed 24-17 after the first quarter, but Lauren Heard put the Horned Frogs on her back, scoring 17 of her team-high 23 points in the first half. The Horned Frogs led 51-38 at the break and never looked back.
• Both teams shot at least 50 percent from the floor, with Kansas draining 28-of-56 from the field overall and TCU going 34-of-66 on the day.
• TCU scored 21 points off 17 KU turnovers and poured in 15 second-chance points on the day, as well.
• In addition to Heard's 23 points, TCU collected double-digit scoring efforts from Jayde Woods (15), Jaycee Bradley (11) and Adeola Akomolafe (11).
Kianna Ray led the team on the defensive side of the floor, notching three steals and a pair of blocked shots.

UP NEXT
• TCU returns home for the first time since Feb. 1, hosting the Iowa State Cyclones this Sunday, Feb. 16 at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena. Tip-off is set for noon and the contest will be televised live on Fox Sports Southwest.
