FORT WORTH - The 10th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs stretched their winning streak to 13 straight with a 10-2 win over Oklahoma Friday night. TCU scored 10 unanswered runs to give it 20 victories in its last 21 games.

Oklahoma struck for a pair of runs on four hits in the first inning. Craig Aikin opened the game with a bloop single to center field. With two on and one out, Mac James put the Sooners on top with a base hit to right. A double from Austin O'Brien drove in the second run, but the Frogs dodged a bullet as Cody Jones, Garrett Crain and Kyle Bacak executed a perfect relay throw to cut down the third run at home.

The Horned Frogs stormed back with four runs on two hits and a costly Sooner error in the third. Bacak led off the inning with a walk and moved to second on a base hit from Cody Jones. With one out, Boomer White hit a chopper up the middle that looked like it could be an inning-ending double play, but a bobble loaded the bases. Kevin Cron was plunked on the leg to drive in the first run of the game.

Crain put the Frogs on top, 3-2, with a two-run single to left. The lead grew to two on a double steal attempt. The Sooners threw to second to get Crain, but he stayed in the rundown long enough for Cron to cross the plate for a 4-2 lead.

Dylan Fitzgerald launched his second home run of the season to lead off the fourth. With two outs, Cody Jones started a rally with a base hit. With two on, White singled to right to give TCU a four-run advantage, 6-2.

Brandon Finnegan (8-2) gave way to Trey Teakell in the fifth inning after pitching four innings in his return to the mound. The junior allowed two runs on two hits, two walks and he punched out four.

TCU kept adding to its lead as it collected its seventh run of the game in the fifth inning. Crain doubled to open the inning and scored on a Jerrick Suiter base hit.

Three more unearned runs crossed the plate for the Frogs in the seventh inning. With two on and one out, Fitzgerald lined a single into left. The outfielder bobbled the ball, allowing Crain to score from second. Cody Jones ripped a two-run single to left field to account for the final score.

Teakell was solid in relief as he threw four shutout innings. He allowed three hits, but he faced just 13 batters as the defense turned two double plays behind him. He finished with two strikeouts. Bryan Howard pitched a scoreless ninth to lock up TCU's victory.

The Horned Frogs improve to 35-13 overall and 14-5 in Big 12 play. TCU remains tied atop the league standings with Oklahoma State. TCU and Oklahoma will square off in game two Saturday afternoon at 3:30. The game will be televised nationally on FOX Sports Net. Preston Morrison will make the start for the Horned Frogs.
