LAWRENCE, Kan. – TCU had four score in double-figures, but a season-high 20 turnovers plagued the Horned Frogs in a 77-68 loss at No. 7 Kansas Wednesday at Allen Fieldhouse.

Redshirt freshman RJ Nembhard finished with a career-high 14 points to lead the Frogs (12-2, 1-1), which snapped a nine-game winning streak, the fifth-longest in the nation. Junior Desmond Bane finished with 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field. Alex Robinson and Kevin Samuel each scored 12 points and Kouat Noi had 10.

TCU trailed most of the game, but stayed in it with timely 3-pointers. A 3-pointer by Noi tied the game 26-26 with 6:19 left in the first half. The Jayhawks (13-2, 2-1) then ended the half on a 14-5 run to take a 40-31 lead at the break.

A 7-0 TCU run early in the second half, brought the Frogs to within two points, 52-50 with 12:38 to play, but the Jayhawks built a 64-53 lead, their largest of the game with 8:05 remaining. TCU fought back and after 3-pointers by Robinson and Bane, the Frogs trailed by just three points, 68-65 with 3:37 to play. However, TCU made just one of its next six shots and committed two turnovers to close the game.

Kansas was led by junior forward Dedric Lawson, who had 31 points and 14 rebounds.

TCU will continue on the road and face No. 23 Oklahoma at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on FOX Sports Southwest.

Team Notes
- TCU fell to 1-1 on the road this season.
- TCU's 20 turnovers were its most this season. The previous high was 16, which happened twice, including its other loss of the season, Lipscomb on Nov. 20. KU had just 12 turnovers.
- TCU dropped to 2-17 all-time against Kansas.
- TCU shot 46.3 percent from the field to Kansas' 43.3 percent. It was TCU's first loss this season when outshooting its opponent (12-1).
- KU had 24 points off turnovers to TCU's 13. It was the first time in nine games that TCU had fewer points off turnovers than its opponent.

Individual Notes
- Kouat Noi was 2-for-5 from 3-point range. It was his 14th straight game with a made 3-pointer, dating back to last season.
- Desmond Bane finished with 13 points to mark the 11th time this season and the sixth time in the last seven games that he finished with double figure scoring.
- Alex Robinson reached double figures in scoring for the fourth straight contest with 12 points and the sixth time in the last seven games.
- Robinson led the Frogs in assists for the 12th straight game with four.
- Robinson now has 535 assists in his career and is 40 assists away from matching Corey Santee's school record of 575 assists.
- Kevin Samuel reached double figures for the sixth time this season with 12 points.
- JD Miller led the Frogs in rebounding for the third straight game with nine.
-RJ Nembhard scored a career-high 14 points, his second straight game in double figures. He was 3-for-6 from 3-point range, a new career high for made threes. His previous high was two.
