• Setter Lily Nicholson became the eighth Horned Frog in program history to record 1,000 assists in a single season. The sophomore ranks 28th nationally this year with 10.44 assists per set.

• Parra is the first player in Division I women's volleyball history to win back-to-back AVCA/GameChanger Player of the Week honors (Sept. 10 & 17).

REWRITING THE RECORD BOOK
Melanie Parra is rewriting the record books at TCU, breaking her own program record set last year for most points in a single season.
• The senior has 570.0 and counting through 26 contests, topping her 569.0 in 29 matches played last season.
• She also is on track to tally the most kills by Horned Frog in a single season in the rally scoring era, just 12 away from passing Ellen Rehme (501 in 2004).

SENIOR SENDOFF
• With emotions running high on senior day, TCU swept Texas Tech in front of 3,012 fans, the sixth-largest crowd in program history.
Ashlyn Bourland, Cecily Bramschreiber, Melanie Parra and Stephanie Young earned starts in their final regular season match at home.
• They were heavily involved, combining for 19 kills, 20 assists and 16 digs on the night.
• Further, all four seniors recorded an ace in the win, led by Bramschreiber, who tied her career-high with four.
• From ranked victories to receiving their first national ranking in school history, the senior class will leave a lasting impact for years to come.

CHASING 1,000
• Entering the match with 983 kills, Melanie Parra tallied 22 on a .362 clip to collect her 1,000th career kill on Oct. 19.
• What makes the feat even more impressive is how quickly Parra reached the milestone.
• In three seasons at Texas, she only totaled 169 kills across 171 sets played.
• Since transferring to TCU in 2023, she has seen her production skyrocket, racking up 972 kills in 208 sets to eclipse 1,000 in her career.
