DALLAS – TCU rallied from an early deficit to pick up an 8-5 victory over No. 15 DBU on Tuesday night at Horner Ballpark. Sawyer Strosnider and Brody Greeneach hit two run home runs in the win.

The Rundown
TCU found itself in a 3-0 hole as the Patriots built their lead on the strength of a trio of solo home runs in the first four innings.

Chase Brunson's lead-off single in the fifth put the Frogs on the comeback trail. Sawyer Strosnider's first career home run brought the Frogs within one, 3-2. With two in scoring position and two out, Isaac Cadena gave the Frogs a 4-3 lead with a base hit. Cole Cramer followed with a double to cap a five-run fifth.

DBU picked up a run in the seventh to pull within one. With two on and nobody on in the frame, Mason Brassfield took over. He gave up a single to the first batter he faced but retired three straight to strand the tying run at third.

TCU added a trio of insurance runs in the ninth to open up an 8-4 lead. After Jack Arthur was hit to open the inning, a wild pitch put him in scoring position. Silva delivered with a base knock, restoring the Frogs two-run lead. Brody Greenfollowed with a no-doubt, two-run home run to left.

Braeden Sloan took over with the tying run in scoring position in the eighth and got out of the jam. He allowed a solo home run in the ninth, but held on to record his third save of the season.

Kole Klecker started an allowed a run on two hits in 2 2/3 innings. Kade Eudy (1-0) earned the win in relief. He allowed a run on four hits, walked one and struck out three in 2 1/3 innings.
