The Opponent

Against the Bearcats, the Raiders were carried by Austin Tillotson who tallied 10 points on 3-of-7 shooting. Alex Ramon followed with nine points and five boards. As a team, Colgate shot only 29.7 percent from the field, including 13.6 from behind the arc.

On the season, Tillotson has carried the load, averaging 11.5 points per game, while Jordan Swopshire is also in double-figures with 10.5 points a contest.

The Series
TCU and Colgate will meet for only the fourth time in program history Saturday night. The Horned Frogs lead the all-time series at 2-1. The two teams last met during the 2009 season. TCU won the last meeting in Fort Worth, 76-63.

A Closer Look
TCU will be playing a school from the Patriot League for only the sixth time in program history Saturday. The Frogs have battled Colgate three times, while facing Navy twice. TCU is 4-1 all-time against Patriot League foes.

A Historic Mark
When TCU takes on Colgate Saturday night it will mark the program's 2,500th game in school history. The Frogs will also look to go for their 729th win at home all-time Saturday.

Filling Up The Stat Sheet
Sophomore Vladimir Brodziansky has had quite the impact early on this season. The sophomore has scored in double-figures in five out of the six contest, while recording one double-double. He led TCU with an 18-point outing against SMU on 7-of-11 from the field. Against the four teams that made post-season a year ago, the Slovakian native is averaging 13.3 points per game and 7.0 boards a contest. He is also shooting almost 60 percent from the field.

NABC Good Works Team
Junior Michael Williams was recently named a nominee for the 2016 Allstate NABC Good Works Team. Williams, a San Antonio native, has played in all six games this season, averaging 4.2 points per game and 2.5 assists per contest. He was named an Academic All-Big 12 selection a year ago and has participated in numerous volunteer activities during his time in Fort Worth.

In The Final 5 Minutes
In TCU's six games this season, several individuals have stepped up in the last five minutes of a ballgame. Brandon Parrish is 7-for-9 from the field during that stretch, while senior Devonta Abron is shooting 80 percent from the floor. Newcomer Vladimir Brodziansky has also been rock solid, going 5-of-9 from the field, which is close to 60 percent.

Comparing The Two
A trend has become apparent in TCU's six games this season. In the three wins, the Horned Frogs have gotten to the line 94 times, while shooting 76 percent from the charity stripe. In the three losses, TCU has only attempted 59 free throws, connecting on 71 percent of them. The Purple and White have also shared the rock better in the three wins, tallying 10 more assists in games won.

Second Chance Points
In the first five outings prior to SMU, TCU had combined to outscore its opponent in second-chance points, 61-51. Against Mustangs, the Purple and White didn't hold an advantage over their opponent in second-chance points for only the third time this year.

Starting Strong
In the first six games of the season, TCU has combined to outscore its opponent 50-28 in the first 4 minutes of the game. During that stretch, the Horned Frogs have held the opposition to a 12-for-37 showing from the field.

Collins In Double-Figures Equals Victory
Chauncey Collins has filled in nicely for departed all-conference honoree Kyan Anderson so far this season as he has posted back-to-back double-digit outings for the first time in his career, which included a career-high 17 in the season-opener. TCU is now 5-1 all-time when Collins scores in double-figures. He totaled 12 in the loss to SMU.
