He added nine stops the next week in a 31-3 victory versus BYU. </p><p></p><p>Cuba is a three-year letterman whose 82 career tackles rank third among active Horned Frogs. </p><p></p><p><a href="http://gofrogs.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/fobbs_johnny00.html" target="_blank">Johnny Fobbs</a> (6-1, 203, Sr.) and Trent Thomas (5-11, 190, So.) entered the fall in first-team positions at free and strong safety, respectively. </p><p></p><p>A local product, Fobbs is a three-year letterman who has also contributed on special teams. </p><p></p><p>Thomas, a sophomore from Brenham, Texas, was TCU's Defensive Scout Team Most Valuable Player in 2009. </p><p></p><p><a href="http://gofrogs.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/olabode_elisha00.html" target="_blank">Elisha Olabode</a> (5-10, 182, So.), who lettered at cornerback as a true freshman, opened the fall in a second-team position at free safety. Olabode recorded nine stops last season as he was one of just three true freshmen to see action. </p><p></p><p>Olabode was ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 9 safety in Texas and the No. 54 safety nationally coming out of Cedar Hill (Texas) High School. </p><p></p><p>Converted quarterback <a href="http://gofrogs.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/carter_sam00.html" target="_blank">Sam Carter</a> (6-1, 210, RFr.) is battling Thomas at strong safety. Carter was ranked as a top-25 dual-threat quarterback in the nation at Hastings High School in Alief, Texas. </p><p></p><p>Like Olabode, <a href="http://gofrogs.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/johnson_devin00.html" target="_blank">Devin Johnson</a> (5-10, 188, Jr.) is a converted cornerback looking to make his mark at safety.
