Who would've thought after that 5-0 shutout victory on Friday, we'd proceed to score 1 run in 2 games and lose the series.

Just terrible. These coaches were just riding the wave of talent that was on the roster last season. They got hot at the right time and the coaches got lucky to get the credit.

Without Richardson, Fontenelle, Davis, Klecker, Bowen and Silva all recruited by the coaching staff the Frogs wouldn't have went on that run.

And if all of them stayed longer than a year, they would've also been infected like Silva, Klecker, Bowen have.

Can't just be a coincidence for everybody to start struggling.

Let's hope Brunson and Myers don't start regressing next year. Ryder is meh but he gets a pass because he's a freshman. Although don't know why KS thought he was good enough to start at 3rd base to begin the year. Luckily Chat was able to move over but he is terrible at the plate.

There's no improvement this year besides Tolle's pitching and maybe Boyers. Players have just gotten worse.

We have experienced players who have flat let the team down - Frenchy, Byrne, Bowen, Silva, Boyers. We have a starting freshmen who is weak at the plate - Robinson. IF we have a hitting coach, he can't teach. He probably could not hit when he played. Other than Rodriguez and Hoover, our pitching was pretty good this weekend. When you hold UT to 2 runs, you have to win.

not Really a good look for a coach to be responding to comments on social media. how about we focus inward and figure something out instead of throwing darts on random tweets?!
No doubt he is more frustrated than the rest of us over the lack of offense the last several weeks. But yeah don't on social media. Especially when simple facts are presented.

Is he the hitting coach? I miss the days of the take a deep breath and focus at the plate. Seems like we hit better but I am not looking at the stats from previous seasons. What killed us in conference all season is not being able to hit with runners on. Feels like last year was the same issue.

Was I supposed to type something here?
The first 14 games of the year, the hitting was carrying this team. Now we can't hit squat. Can't figure them out.
Teams studied the video, figured out what pitches each batter couldn't hit/swung at each time. When we got to Conference play, they were ready for us and we're seeing the result.

It's not like this goes on with each and every team, everybody is studying each week to find the weaknesses in their opponents and figuring out ways to exploit them. Where our Staff is failing (in flaming blatancy) is in recognizing those very weaknesses, and addressing them, before our opponents beat us to death with them.

Wait... We have a hitting coach? Seriously?
Not for long if he is really going to spend time on twitter arguing with “fans” after just losing a series by scoring 1 run in 18 innings - most of which probably don’t know crap about baseball or even support TCU anyway

No idea who these guys are but I also think Bruce is using whole season numbers when he says we are hitting .343 on 0-0 counts and he should probably be focused on why we suddenly started sucking during conference because the 13-0 is a irrelevant and distant memory if we can’t climb our way into the conference tourney

Some of the hitters still do the look at the barrel of the bat and take a deep breath.
