GoFrogs: TCU at Cincinnati baseball series preview
FORT WORTH – TCU will revive an old conference rivalry this weekend as it heads north for a three-game series at Cincinnati. The two programs spent four years as members of Conference USA. The series is slated to begin at 4 p.m. (CT) on Friday. All three games of the series will be televised on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

• TCU dropped its first non-conference game of the season on Tuesday night at UT Arlington.
• In the sweep of Houston, TCU outscored the Cougars 26-7 and held the Cougars to a .167 batting average.
• TCU sits No. 26 in the latest RPI rankings.
• TCU ranks ninth in the Big 12 in average (.280), sixth in ERA (4.63) and fourth in fielding percentage (.975).

Think it was that way last week, too, and Klecker got the start. You hope he can be effective through 5. If Tolle and Louie stay on a roll, we should have a pretty fresh pen.

The announcer identified the problem. We lost a 1st round selection and 3 other .300 hitters from last years team.
