TCU outscored Arizona in all four quarters, although they gave up the entirety of a 9-point lead in the first six minutes of the third quarter. Still waiting for Campbell to call a 3rd-quarter timeout.
I watched almost all of the second half and thought the Frogs looked good. Arizona shot lights-out from deep (12 of 18 from 3) and the Frogs still pulled away for a comfortable win on the road. Hard to do that when an opponent is knocking down shots and getting the crowd going. Glad to see Conner have a good game at her former school (7 of 10 for 18 points, including a couple of 3s to stave off a UA comeback, plus a nice left-handed finish on a drive).
Defense was okay, but they didn't really jump passing lanes until Hunter picked one off and went the length of the floor in the mid-4th Q. TCU was energetic in the 4th, did well passing out of double-teams, typically finding Sedona who then looked for the player left unguarded. Once she just decided to take it to the hoop; would like to see her drive on other bigs more often.
