Horned Frogs bolster shooting with talented outside threats

FORT WORTH – TCU men's basketball added two more to its roster for the 2025-26 season with the signing of Liutauras Lelevicius (Lih-TAO-ris Le-LEH-vich-us) and Tanner Toolson.
Lelevicius started 24 games for Oregon State last season and averaged 8.7 points while shooting 48.0 percent from the field, 37.0 percent from 3-point range and 85.3 percent from the free throw line. The Kaunas, Lithuania's season-high 20 points was on 9-of-12 shooting and came in the final game of the Beavers' season to UCF in the opening round of the College Basketball Crown. It was one of 14 games in which Lelevicius scored in double figures.
Prior to Oregon State, Lelevicius competed for Lithuania at the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championships, averaging 17.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. He also competed in the FIBA U19 World Cup in 2021.
Toolson played and started all 34 games for Utah Valley last season, leading the team to an outright Western Athletic Conference regular season championship and an appearance in the NIT. The Vancouver, Wash. native averaged 13.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists and shot 34.9 percent from three and 79.2 percent from the free throw line. He poured in at least 20 points five times including a career-best 28 points against Grand Canyon in the WAC Championship when he was 6-of-9 from three. Toolson's 66 3-pointers made ranked third in the conference.
Toolson earned Second Team All-WAC honors and was named to the WAC All-Tournament team.
As a redshirt freshman at Utah Valley, Toolson averaged 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists while starting 31 games. Prior to Utah Valley, Toolson appeared in six games for BYU and averaged 3.5 points. Before college, Toolson starred at Union High School where he was named the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association Mr. Basketball.
The duo will join transfers Brock Harding and Jayden Pierre and fall signees Xavier Edmonds and Kayden Edwards as newcomers for the 2025-26 season.
