GoFrogs: Springer Earns PGA Tour Card
FORT WORTH – Former TCU men's golfer Hayden Springer earned his PGA Tour Card on Monday after finishing tied for fourth at the PGA Tour Q-School presented by Korn Ferry in Point Vedra Beach, Fla.
A native of Trophy Club, Texas, Springer played for the Horned Frogs for two seasons, from 2017-2019. His collegiate career was highlighted by winning the 2019 Big 12 Championship at The Greenbrier.
With the goal of finishing in the top five, Springer finished the four rounds 8-under 272 and tied with Raul Pereda for fourth place. The opportunity came after finishing atop the PGA TOUR Canada season-long points list. The tournament took place at both Dye's Valley Course and Sawgrass Country Club.
Springer joins Paul Barjon and Tom Hoge as former Frogs on the PGA TOUR.
