Actually, 2 things that stood out.

1) The QB from Oklahoma, Chaz Gonzalez, is going to get a shot at QB first, but sounds like they are expecting him to be a WR or Safety.
2) They are hoping with the Jamie Byrd signing, they will be able to make inroads to that area of Florida.

Since the rest of campus is closed, wIsh they would reschedule this. I'm sure a lot of people won't want to risk the drive to Fort Worth.

I thought it was National Signing Day. Isn't this day determined way in advance by the NCAA, not by TCU?

I was speaking to the TCU Signing Day Reception, not the NCAA events.

As an aside, most the high schools in the DFW area are closed today as well.

Like I said, it was a very good turnout given the conditions.

I drove in from west Fort Worth and the roads weren't that bad as long as you drove slowly. The ballroom looked packed even though I am sure more than a few people didn't make it. In a situation like this there is no way for TCU to make everybody happy.
