FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Legends Speaker Series presented by Bank of America will feature 'The Art of the Deal' with the new owners of the Texas Rangers - Nolan Ryan and Chuck Greenberg.
This past summer, the team of Greenberg and Ryan finalized their purchase of the Texas Rangers for $593 million. Ryan - who is the current President of the Texas Rangers - is a member of the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame and is the all-time leader in strikeouts in baseball history.
Greenburg is a prominent Pittsburgh attorney and the founder of the Greenberg Sports Group. During his law career, Greenberg was instrumental in a deal that allowed NHL Hall of Fame Mario Lemieux to purchase the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1999.
The TCU Legends Speaker Series will be held on Monday (Sept. 27) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel. The TCU Legends Speaker Series will benefit the TCU KinderFrogs School along with the TCU baseball program.
