ABOUT THE GAME
*No. 4 TCU, the highest-ranked team in Texas, closes its three-game homestand Saturday when it faces Air Force.
*The Horned Frogs have not allowed a touchdown in their opening three Mountain West Conference games, outscoring their opponents 103-3.
*TCU has not allowed a touchdown in October. The stretch of 191:24 without a touchdown surrendered dates back to the fourth quarter of the Sept. 24 SMU game.
*TCU is one of just two schools (Boise State) to rank in the top 15 in the nation in both total offense and total defense.
*TCU leads the nation in scoring defense (9.3 points per game) and is second in total defense (218.3 yards per game) and pass defense (128.0 yards per game) while ranking ninth in run defense (90.3 yards per game).
*The Frogs have held their last three opponents to under 200 yards in total offense (Colorado State, 161; Wyoming, 191; BYU, 147).
*Over the last six seasons, TCU is 53-4 in Saturday games.
*TCU hasn't lost a Saturday home game since the 2004 season finale against Tulane.

THE WIN COLUMN
*The Frogs have a 20-game regular-season winning streak.
*TCU has won 21 of its last 22 overall games and is 33-3 in its last 36 contests.
*TCU has won its last 12 Mountain West Conference games and 20 of its last 21.
*TCU (30-3) is one of just four teams (Alabama 32-3, Boise State 32-1, Florida 30-4) to have at least 30 victories since the start of the 2008 season.
*Twelve of TCU's last 14 victories have been by at least 27 points. Thirteen of the 14 wins are by 17 points or more.

GOOD STARTS
*TCU is 7-0 for the second straight year and fourth time in 11 seasons.

DEFENDING THEIR HOME
*TCU has a school record 18-game home winning streak. It's a mark that is tied for second all-time in MWC history and is currently tied for the fourth-longest in the nation (Oklahoma 34, Boise State 28, Utah 20, Alabama 18).
*In four home games this season, TCU has outscored its opponents in the first half by a 118-10 margin (35-7 vs. Tennessee Tech, 35-3 vs. Baylor, 31-0 vs. Wyoming, 17-0 vs. BYU).

SERIES NOTES
*TCU holds a 6-2-1 lead over Air Force in a series that began with a scoreless tie in the 1959 Cotton Bowl.
*The Frogs are 4-0 versus Air Force in Fort Worth, 2-2 in Colorado Springs and 0-0-1 at neutral sites (Dallas).
*Since beginning Mountain West Conference play, TCU is 4-1 versus Air Force. The Falcons' lone victory was a 20-17 overtime decision in 2007 to snap a TCU four-game winning streak in the series.
*The nine previous games between TCU and Air Force have seen the teams meet five times as MWC rivals (2005-09), once as WAC opponents (1998), twice in non-conference play (1987, 1989) and once in a bowl game (1959).
*In 1998, when both teams were members of the Western Athletic Conference, the Frogs posted a 35-34 victory over the 23rd-ranked Falcons in Fort Worth.

FAMILIAR FACES
*TCU defensive coordinator/defensive line coach Dick Bumpas was Air Force's defensive line coach in the 1979-80 campaigns. It was Ken Hatfield's first two years as the Falcons' head coach. Hatfield replaced Bill Parcells following the 1978 season.
