No. 3 TCU Takes Down Defending Champs
TCU edges USC 3-2

PALM BEACH, Fla. - The No. 3 TCU beach volleyball team took down No. 4 USC on Tuesday morning at the Palm Beach Invitational. The win was TCU's 10th in a row and its second win all-time over USC.
The Frogs also took down Palm Beach State in an exhibition match winning, 5-0.
In a highly competitive showdown, TCU claimed a 3-2 victory over USC in beach volleyball action. The Horned Frogs secured the win behind strong performances on courts three, four, and five, while the Trojans notched key victories on the top two courts.
The match opened with USC's Kennedy Coakley and Ashley Pater delivering a straight-set victory (21-16, 21-13) over TCU's Maria Gonzalez and Hailey Hamlett. However, TCU responded quickly, as Sofia Izuzquiza and Allanis Navastook down Maya Gessner and Ella Larkin in a tight 21-19, 21-17 battle.
TCU continued its momentum with Anhelina Khmil and Ana Vergara defeating Madison Goellner and Kaileigh Truslow (21-14, 21-18), putting the Horned Frogs in control.
The clinching point came on court five, where Daniela Konstantinova and Anete Namike secured a hard-fought 21-18, 21-18 win over USC's Macy Bolyard and Calinda Kok.
In the final match, Zoey Henson and Madison White earned a three-set victory for USC (21-17, 17-21, 15-10) against TCU's Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno, rounding out the score at 3-2 in favor of TCU.
