With the short leash today I wonder if they would use him Tuesday against DBU. They're one of the stronger teams left on our schedule. A win there would be huge.

Maybe. I think his short leash is KS trying to nurse his confidence back up without letting him get touched up too many times.

I think we really have to have Kleck going for this team to make any sort of deep run in May/June. It’s hard to win a series when you only have a single starter that you feel like can go more than 2 innings on any given night.

KS and home plate umpire had a heated conversation as Klecker was warming up before game started. It was something about his windup the umpire was ruling he could not do. Before first pitch Klecker looked to KS asking "which can I do?".

Wondered if his troubles and the quick hook were related. Tough on a pitcher right before the game to change his mechanics
