GoFrogs: No. 22 Horned Frogs Battle Bears To 1-1 Draw

WACO, Texas - The No. 22 TCU women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to six games as it battled Baylor to a 1-1 draw at Betty Lou Mays Field on Sunday afternoon. Bella Diorio scored the equalizer in the 72nd minute off an assist from Camryn Lancaster.

The Rundown
The Horned Frogs and Bears played to a deadlock in the first half but the Frogs controlled the bulk of the possession and held a 10-3 shot advantage going into the break.

Camryn Lancaster had the best look of the half in the 32nd minute. Her shot just inside the 18 was ticketed for the far corner, but a fingertip save pushed the ball just wide of the net.

Baylor broke the tie with a goal in the 58th minute. The Bears fired a shot that clanged off the crossbar, creating chaos inside the six. A Baylor player was there to clean up, firing it home for the 1-0 lead. The shot was the first on goal for the Bears.

TCU continued to push, creating a multitude of opportunities. The Frogs finally found the equalizer in the 72nd minute. A.J. Hennessey worked the ball deep into the attacking third and found Camryn Lancaster at the top of the 18. Lancaster's fed the ball Bella Diorio inside the box and she did the rest, shooting the ball high past the diving Baylor goalkeeper to knot the game.

The Frogs ended the game with a 28-6 shot advantage over the Bears, including an 8-2 shots on goal advantage.
