NCSA Honors Seven TCU Athletes
Four different TCU sports earn All-America accolades for work in weight room
FORT WORTH – Seven TCU athletes have been named Strength and Conditioning All-Americans, it was announced by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Four TCU sports were represented with football leading the way with four selections. Departing seniors Marcus Cannon, Curtis Clay, Andy Dalton and Jake Kirkpatrick were all named to the squad.
Also recognized were women’s golfer Melissa Loh, volleyball player Irene Hester and baseball’s Joe Weik also earned the distinction.
The NSCA All-American Strength and Conditioning Athletes of the Year program recognizes those collegiate athletes whose athletic accomplishments, in the opinion of their strength coach, reflect their dedication to strength training and conditioning. These athletes are also recognized for their academic and personal accomplishments and their integrity as student athletes.
