SAN MARCOS, Texas – Caitlyn Macnab recorded her third top 10 finish of the season on Monday after finishing third at the Jim West Challenge in San Marcos, Texas.

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Caitlyn Macnab recorded her third top 10 finish of the season on Monday after finishing third at the Jim West Challenge in San Marcos, Texas.
The sophomore shot 1-under 71 in the final round to finish 7-under 209, one stroke back of co-medalists Carla Bernat of Tulane and Moa Svedenskiold of Houston. Bernat soared to the top with the best round of the day, a 7-under 65. Along with two birdies, Macnab made an eagle on the par 5 No. 3 hole.
Lois Lau finished inside the top 20 as a 1-under 215 placed her tied for 17th. She made three birdies through her first six holes and five for the round for a score of 1-under 71.
Sofia Barroso Sa made three birdies and shot 2-over 74 for the round and 8-over 224 for the tournament to finish tied for 49th.
As a team, the Horned Frogs shot 1-over for the round and tied for seventh with Ohio State with a score of 5-over 869.
TCU will be back in action later in the week when it hosts the Battle at the Beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Nov. 4-6.
