GoFrogs: Jordan Moore Inks Professional Contract with CBBS in France
FORT WORTH, Texas – TCU graduate and former women's basketball player Jordan Moore has signed a professional contract to continue her career on the hardcourt with Charnay Basket Bourgogne Sud in Charnay-lès-Mâcon, France.
As the defending champion of Ligue Féminine 2, CBBS will be promoted to the Ligue Féminine de Basketball, the top women's basketball league in France, this fall when Moore will join the team for its 22-game regular-season schedule. The Pinkies were 19-3 in the regular season this year before rolling through the playoffs and defeating Toulouse Metropole in the championship series.
One of the most decorated players in TCU women's basketball history, Moore closed out her collegiate career by leading the Horned Frogs to their most successful season since joining the Big 12 as they finished 24-11 overall and advanced to the WNIT Semifinals for the second consecutive year.
A four-year starter for the Frogs, Moore was a finalist for the Lisa Leslie Award and named to the All-Big 12 First Team and All-Defensive Team following her senior season. The Round Rock, Texas, native recorded 22 double-doubles in her TCU career, tying for the second-most all-time. She also holds the school records for career (.547) and single-season (.590) field-goal percentage, ranks second all-time with 892 rebounds and 133 games played and stands third with 243 career blocks, sixth with 110 games started and seventh with 1,514 career points.
