Last Time Out
TCU, the nation's leading 3-point shooting team entering the game, was ice cold and dropped an 83-54 decision to No. 15 Texas at the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday night.

TCU made just 4-of-24 from deep for a season-low 17 percent. Overall, TCU also shot a season-low at 30 percent and scored a season-low 54 points.

Toree Thompson led TCU with 12 points off the bench while Jordan Moore added 11 points, also off the bench. TCU's bench scored 29 points, over half of the Frogs' total.

Scouting Baylor
Baylor has won 13 straight games since its lone loss, at UConn on Nov. 17. The Lady Bears most recently won at Oklahoma State, 86-50, on Saturday.

Baylor leads the NCAA in scoring offense at 93.6 points per game and ranks third in scoring defense at 50.2 per game. Baylor also leads the nation in field goal percentage defense (28.9), rebound margin (+26.9), assists (23.2) and blocks (8.6).

Nina Davis, the Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year is averaging 11.7 points per game. Baylor's leading scorer is fellow Preseason All-Big 12 selection Alexis Jones who is averaging 15.9 points and 4.7 assists per game.

The Series
Baylor leads the all-time series, 30-5, including an 8-0 mark since TCU joined the Big 12 in 2012-13. Baylor has been ranked in the top seven nationally in each of those eight meetings. Overall, Baylor has won 20 straight since TCU's last win in 1989-90.

The first 27 meetings in the series came when both teams were Southwest Conference members. The two teams never met in the 16 seasons between TCU's SWC and Big 12 memberships.

TCU is 2-15 all-time in Waco with the wins coming in 1987 and 1990.

Five Points
1) TCU last played back-to-back games on the road against a ranked team on Jan. 11 and Jan. 13, 2014 at No. 7 Baylor and No. 11 Oklahoma State, respectively.
2) TCU is assisting on a Big 12-best 68.8 percent of its baskets this season. Only three Big 12 teams (Baylor, Iowa State) are assisting on 60 percent or better of their makes. The Frogs rank second in the Big 12 and 18th in the NCAA with 17.7 assists per game.
3) Despite a season-low 17 percent (4-of-24) effort from deep against Texas, TCU is still shooting 40.1 percent as a team to rank seventh in the NCAA. TCU led the nation in 3-point percentage before its game at Texas.
4) Kianna Ray is the only Big 12 freshman to start each of her team's games this season, with her 27.9 minutes per game rank second among Big 12 freshmen. In Big 12 play, Ray is among the Big 12 leaders (top-15) in assists, steals, 3-point percentage, 3-pointers made, free throw percentage and minutes.
5) Wednesday's game at Baylor ends a very tough opening to TCU's Big 12 schedule. In their first five league games, the Frogs will have played four ranked teams with three of those games coming on the road.
