SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – No. 5 TCU dropped its final matches on Day Two of the Center of Effort Challenge on Saturday. The Horned Frogs fell to No. 2 USC (5-0) and No. 6 Cal Poly (4-1).
TCU wraps up the Center of Effort Challenge 2-2 with wins against No. 7 Long Beach State and Pepperdine on Friday.
QUICK HITS AGAINST NO. 2 USC
• Tara Patton and Morgan Williams finished first from the No. 3 position: 12-21, 13-21.
• From the No. 1 position, Hailey Hamlett and Sutton MacTavish fell 18-21, 13-21 to USC's Kraft/Maple.
• This is just the duo's second loss, now standing at 7-2 on the season.
• Luana Araco and Keagan Polk finished third from the No. 4 spot: 9-21, 19-21.
