FORT WORTH – TCU secured the series victory over No. 22 Kansas with a 4-3 win Saturday afternoon at Lupton Stadium. Karson Bowen's two-out single in the fifth put the Horned Frogs in front for good. Kade Eudy tossed 2 1/3 scoreless with two strike outs to register the save.

The Rundown
Kansas took a 1-0 lead with a run in the second. The Jayhawks looked poised to add to their lead in the fifth as they loaded the bases with nobody out. Braeden Sloan (3-1) got out of the jam, getting the force at home, a strikeout and a bouncer back to the mound to keep the deficit at just one.

TCU took the momentum into bottom of the frame. With two outs, Isaac Cadenaripped a double into right field. A miscue allowed Cadena to make it to third and he scored the game-tying run on a wild pitch. Three walks loaded the bases and Karson Bowen delivered a two-run single to put the Frogs on top 3-1.

Cole Cramer's lead-off triple had the Frogs in business in the sixth. Noah Francoexecuted, driving a ball into the outfield for an easy sacrifice fly and a 4-1 TCU lead.

Kansas cut into the lead with two runs in the seventh on a Jackson Hauge double. With two outs, a hit batter and a walk loaded the bases. Kade Eudy came on and got a strikeout to end the inning. The freshman closed out the game, holding the Jayhawks to just one hit, a baserunner that was erased on a game-ending double play.

Kole Klecker started and went two innings. He allowed a run on three hits, walked one and struck out two. Sloan earned the win after allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits. He walked three and struck out five.
