Baseball Highly Ranked In National Attendance
TCU set a school-record in attendance in 2010
FORT WORTH, Texas - The NCAA released its attendance figures for 2010 and the baseball team ranked in the top 25 in total attendance and average attendance during their historic run in 2010. TCU ranked 18th nationally with an average of 3,127 fans per game and 21st nationally with a total attendance of 90,687 fans. Seven of the top 10 attendance marks in school history came during the 2010 campaign, while all five of the top attended series came a season ago.
Season tickets are now on sale for the 2011 campaign. Frog fans will get the chance to see the squad in action 33 times during the regular season. TCU will welcome non-conference opponents such as Kansas (Feb. 18-20), Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 25-27), Houston (March 25-27), Oklahoma (April 26) and Baylor (May 10). The conference slate will see Air Force (April 1-3), New Mexico (April 8-10), UNLV (April 21-23) and Utah (May 13-15) head to Fort Worth in 2011.
