A diving stop on a ball down the line by the third baseman brought the game to a close as the Frogs rally fell a run short.</p><p> </p><p>Oklahoma State opened the scoring on a one-out, solo home run in the first, but the Frogs responded with two in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5684" target="_blank">Jake Guenther</a> tied the game with a base hit and Oviedo grounded out to bring in <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5520" target="_blank">Josh Watson</a> for a 2-1 lead.</p><p> </p><p>In the third, the Cowboys struck for a trio of runs to make it a 4-2 ballgame. Again, the Frogs had an answer. With two outs, infield singles from Oviedo and <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5" target="_blank">Conner Shepherd</a> put the tying runs on base. <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5513" target="_blank">Zach Humphreys</a> tied the game with a double to right center.</p><p> </p><p>The see-saw battle continued as Oklahoma State regained the lead with two runs in the fourth and one in the fifth.
