TCU women’s basketball lands San Diego State transfer Veronica Sheffey

TCU women’s basketball added to its top-ranked transfer class with another portal addition.
The Horned Frogs landed San Diego State transfer Veronica Sheffey on Monday, joining an elite class that already features Notre Dame transfer Olivia Miles and Cal transfer Marta Suarez.
The junior guard averaged 11.2 points per game, 2.9 assists and shot 36.6% from 3, but she only attempted 1.2 per game. Sheffey started her career at San Diego and had a breakout season in 2023 when she started 31 games and averaged 12.2 points and 5.1 assists.
