TCU women’s basketball adds another top transfer, Cal forward Marta Suarez

TCU women’s basketball added another top transfer Friday night as Cal forward Marta Suarez announced her commitment to the Horned Frogs on her Instagram page.
Suarez was a productive forward for the Golden Bears last season as she averaged 12.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Cal went 25-9 and reached the NCAA Tournament last season.
Suarez, originally from Spain, started her career at Tennessee in 2020 and was voted SEC All-Freshman after starting 14 games. She missed the 2021 season with a lower body injury.
