TCU quarterback Josh Hoover will miss spring football with an injury
Story by Steven Johnson, Fort Worth Star-TelegramTCU will be without starting quarterback Josh Hoover for spring training camp, the Star-Telegram learned Monday.
Hoover’s injury was undisclosed, but the Horned Frogs expect Hoover to be back for summer workouts in July according to a school spokesman.
It’s a bummer for Hoover, who was hoping to build off a redshirt freshman season where he showed potential of being TCU’s quarterback of the future after Chandler Morris went down with an injury against Iowa State. Hoover made six starts and threw for 2,206 yards, 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions along with two rushing touchdowns.
