FWST: Sophomore sparks TCU over Baylor 7-6

Kyle von Tungeln is supposed to be the future of TCU baseball. Tuesday night in a rain-delayed game against Baylor, the sophomore showed why his coaches have such high expectations.
Von Tungeln's triple to right-center with one out in the eighth gave the Frogs a lead. On the next pitch, he scored from third on Brance Rivera's suicide squeeze bunt as the 10th-ranked Horned Frogs defeated the Bears 7-6 at Lupton Stadium.
Although most of the paid attendance of 4,082 was not around to see it after two delays because of rain and lightning, including one of an hour and a half that delayed the start of the fifth inning until 9:45 p.m., Von Tungeln's speed was on full display. The outfielder was 2 for 2 with two walks, two runs scored and two RBIs. ...
