FWST: Rebounding problems down stretch doom TCU

Oral Roberts guard Kevi Luper, the NCAA scoring leader, got her points Thursday night against TCU in an opening-round game of the Women's National Invitation Tournament.
But a more familiar nemesis doomed the Horned Frogs.
Luper, who entered the game leading the nation with more than 24 points a game, scored 26, but it was teammates Jordan Pyle and Dominique Allen who ruled inside in Oral Roberts' 78-74 victory before 615 fans at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
The Golden Eagles (22-10), who advanced to play Tulane (23-10) in the second round, out-rebounded the Frogs 52-43. Missed rebounds were especially costly for TCU in the final few minutes with the game still in the balance. ...
