Quentin Johnston, receivers stand out at Monday TCU practice

With the season opener at Colorado just over two weeks away, TCU is approaching the final stretch of fall camp.
At this point in camp, what a head coach wants to see is both sides of the ball having their moments. One side dominating the other can be a troubling sign of what’s to come. Monday’s practice featured a good mix of both the offense and defense having their moments.
The depth at the receiver position stood out as at least five different players caught passes from Chandler Morris and Max Duggan. Quentin Johnston continued his strong stretch of play as he caught a curl route and turned it up field for extra yardage. Geor’Quarius Spivey, running back Brant Ahlfinger and Blake Nowell all had nice pickups as well.
