Madina Ali had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead 10th-ranked West Virginia to a 62-49 win over 21st-ranked TCU on Thursday in the opening game of the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

TCU came into the game averaging nearly 88 points and 51 rebounds in winning its first three games.

Liz Repella added 13 points, 11 rebounds and five steals for the Mountaineers (4-0). Repella and Ali helped West Virginia to a 43-29 rebounding advantage. ...
