FWST: Maxwell's complete game saves TCU bullpen

Steve Maxwell told his catcher Josh Elander that Sunday's game with New Mexico was personal.

The already usually pugnacious Maxwell wanted to turn it up a notch for the Game 3 finale with the Lobos.

That he did.

The senior pitched his first complete game at TCU to improve to 5-0 as the Horned Frogs defeated New Mexico 6-2 in front of 4,305 at Lupton Stadium. ...

Congrats to Max on what was arguably the best performance so far this year to go the distance and with hard, nasty stuff all the way through.
