Jared Wiley sets TCU record on Senior Day in 42-17 victory over Baylor

Before Saturday’s kickoff against Baylor Jared Wiley and other Horned Frogs seniors were honored on Senior Day for their contributions to TCU and the Temple, Texas, native saved his best game for his last in TCU’s 42-17 win over Baylor on Saturday at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
Wiley set career highs in yards (178), catches (7) and touchdowns (2) as he more than doubled his previous yardage high. Wiley’s 178 yards set a TCU record for receiving yards in a game by a tight end.
“Today’s the type of game that I’ve known for five years that I can have,” said Wiley “I can’t thank Coach [Ken] Briles and Josh [Hoover] and everybody’s that been part of it enough for allowing me to display that tonight.”
