TCU’s prized freshman recruit Justin Rogers may not see the field this season. With six regular-season games remaining, Patterson addressed Rogers’ status going forward.
“It still comes down to being healthy,” Patterson said. “He’s been cleared for his knee, hasn’t been cleared for everything else.”
Rogers, a standout quarterback from Bossier City, Louisiana, has been limited since coming to TCU. He sustained a significant knee injury, including a torn anterior cruciate ligament, in the season opener for Parkway High School in August 2017.
