Former Arlington Martin coach joins TCU’s staff as director of high school relations

Former Arlington Martin head coach Bob Wager is joining TCU football’s staff as a director of high school relations,
Wager was hired as a tight end coach and special teams assistant at Nebraska, and was set to coach under Matt Rhule. Wager, on July 28, 2023, resigned from the position following a citation for a driving offense.
According to the Lincoln Journal Star, Wager was cited for a blood alcohol content of 0.15 or higher — which is double the legal limit — refusing a a breath test and having an open container.
