FWST: For TCU's Thorns, not many roses

Hank Thorns couldn't lie to himself.

Did he make a mistake? One of those "What was I thinking?" goofs we all make?

It's easy to say he should never have transferred from Virginia Tech to TCU to play basketball. Who thinks that is a good idea?

The Hokies are 15-7 and have a shot at the NCAA Tournament. They play in the ACC. For two years in Blacksburg, Thorns played. He started. In an NIT game, he broke the school's single-season record for assists by a freshman. But a new point guard was coming in, and Thorns could read the tea leaves. ...

Nice write up on Thorns. This guy could be great if he had a little help around him. Especially considering that with Moss out Thorns is the only point guard who has ball handling skills.

Nice article ... liked the background story on Thorns. Interesting to know now who was involved in the scuffle as well.

I think he's the best PG in the MW conference and the best PG TCU has had in a long time. Now we just need some guys to step up around him and we need a couple of key recruits.

Thorns is pretty good but outside of Green he has nobody to dish it to. This team needs guys who know how to throw it in the hoop.
